At the core of Avaamo’s offering is a cognitive platform that combines artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, Conversation design, and integration to legacy enterprise workflows. The platform dramatically simplifies the time needed to design and deploy enterprise bots or virtual assistants to employees and customers.
Avaamo serves customers in Telecommunications, Banking, Insurance, and Healthcare in 40+ countries. Avaamo is offered as a SaaS service and is founded by enterprise veterans from TIBCO, SAP, Siebel, and Apple. With offices in Los Altos, California, and Bangalore, India, Avaamo is funded by investors from Japan, China, and Silicon Valley.
Founder and CEO
Ram brings over two decades of experience in enterprise software. The frustration with accessing enterprise information and getting work done using his primary device, a smartphone prompted him to found Avaamo.
Previously Ram was the President of Social Computing at TIBCO. He founded the division and built the business from scratch into a leader in Social Business Software with 9 Million paid users in just two years.
Earlier in his stint at TIBCO, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for eight years, leading the company’s marketing and product strategy efforts to support growth from $200M -$1B. Prior to joining TIBCO, Ram was with Accenture, a global consulting firm, where he specialized in supply chain and e-commerce strategy consulting with Global 500 companies.
Founder and CTO
Sriram brings over 15 years of engineering experience in designing massively scalable distributed software. His fervent belief that proliferation of connected mobile devices will profoundly change the workplace prompted him to found Avaamo.
Previously Sriram was Vice President of Products for the Social Computing division at TIBCO where he was responsible for building tibbr, TIBCO’s SaaS based Social Computing platform. He successfully scaled engineering, support and services to serve customers in 121 countries.
Earlier in his stint at TIBCO, he was responsible for product strategy and management of TIBCO core portfolio of business integration products, a $400M-product line. He has worked as a software engineer and architect in messaging, ecommerce and cloud software and has picked up a dozen patents on the way.
